My company specialises in printing sticky-backed labels that are applied to sauce bottles and jars of preserves, which are sold in a large range of supermarkets.

Until recently, we were making plates by hand from customer-supplied film. But, as more jobs are being provided digitally, we decided it was time to start the search for a CTP system.

With the help of Litho Supplies we took our time looking at a number of options and decided on Agfa’s chemistry-free system, because the Azura plates have a clear image and can be handled in daylight before they go on to the press. The system has performed excellently from day one.

There has been no need to adjust anything for the plates, and the
only difference we have noticed is a sharper image.
