WD-40 picks Denny Bros for Problem Sorted! campaign

WD-40 has used Denny Bros for a 400,000 Fix-a-Form campaign.

The promotion to 'Win Free Fuel for a Year', on the company's 450ml products, was in addition to an existing on-product promo item and so was supplied on a clear base label to minimise interference with key graphical elements of the product.

The eight-page resealable Fix-a-Form included a 12-panel scratchcard as well as a voucher with a printed internal bar code that can be torn off a perforated edge and redeemed for a free copy of the Sun newspaper.

A spokesperson for WD-40 said: "With credit crunch conditions prevailing we were keen to give something back to our heavier product users. The free newspaper giveaway fits neatly with this target audience who consume this media daily.

"We use Fix-a-Forms regularly as the ever-popular multi-page label works for so many ideas. The beauty of on-pack devices is they provide an immediate and flexible method of communication and have the potential to increase people’s propensity to buy."
