Xerox director and general manager for the UK graphic arts sector, Alistair Summers, is to leave the firm at the end of the month after 27 years of service.
Xerox graphic arts industry director Marcus Childs, who is currently responsible for Xeroxs large national accounts, will replace Summers.
Childs has worked at Xerox for 14 years and will take up his new position at the beginning of October.
The UK has been Xerox Europes most successful graphic arts sector for the last two years and Childs said it could receive the same accolade this year.
Summers said: Its largely for private reasons and has been planned for quite a while. Ive been here for 27 years and enjoyed my time enormously. But its time to change hats and look to new horizons.
Summers added that he was talking to people in the industry about his possible next move and that companies were interested in his experience, but that a move to a non-related industry also appealed.
Im leaving amicably, with the full support of my managers, team and managing director, said Summers.
