Having bought a Xeikon reel-to-sheet press last year, the Worksop company has installed an automated Horizon AFC564A B2 combination touch-folding system with an MKU54 mobile knife unit and a 10-station VAC-Turbo PowerCollator.
According to managing director Kevin White, the company has diversified its products with the digital and wide-format investments.
He said: "Initially the machine was just an upgrade on our previous kit, but we have managed a 40% increase in productivity."
The £2m-turnover company, which employs 37 staff, has also cut its makeready time through the new kit, with 20,000 to 30,000 sheets completed in an hour.
Next up for R&R is likely to be the move into even bigger work, although White is waiting to see how things go at the moment.
He added: "It is about confidence isn't it? We have had a very good year, but we are just holding back for the moment."
