Pyramid upgrades Ti52 to bring work in-house

Commercial printer Pyramid Printers has increased its in-house finishing by upgrading an existing Heidelberg Ti52 Stahlfolder.

Following the installation of a Heidelberg Stitchmaster ST100 saddlestitcher earlier this year, the Doncaster-based firm has now added a buckle and knife unit to its Ti52.

Pyramid said it could now handle up to a 16pp portrait product and more complex folds, covering a host of commercial job requirements.

Managing director Chris Richardson said that the investment had even improved staff morale at the company.

He added: "Seeing us invest and battle positively against recession by bringing more work in-house and extending the services we offer has given both the company and staff more confidence.

"We now have more control of quality, reduced outwork bills and we can also offer our customers the fast turnaround times they require. "
