According to the firm’s joint managing director Mick Ollard, the kit will replace a larger 15-year-old machine.
He said: “We bought the old folder because it was a good price, but it was bigger than we needed. Now we want to take a smaller buckle folder, which better fits our B3 size.”
The Ti52 operates at 180m per minute and handles products from 100x150mm to 520x840mm.
The Hertford firm has five Speedmaster SM 52 presses, including the UK’s first six-colour unit with expandable transfer cylinders, which can handle stocks 0.6mm thick.
