Snuggle offers new trade DTF service

Orders placed before 3pm are despatched the same day

Garment printing specialist Snuggle has launched a new trade service for direct-to-film (DTF) transfers.

Peterborough-based Snuggle operates from a 3,720sqm factory and has the capacity to produce 15,000 direct-to-garment prints a day, and 10,000 A4-format transfers.

It runs a wide range of specialist kit including two Kornit Atlas Max Plus printers, four Atlas Max printers, and an Atlas Max Poly, as well as DTF kit from Roland DG. The business also offers trade embroidery services.

Snuggle DTF involves a web-to-print platform with no minimum quantity.

The firm said this would allow trade customers to add DTF to their services with no risk or need to invest in additional equipment, and highlighted the benefits of local production in the UK.

The DTF film transfers can be used for products such as merchandise and branded uniforms and workwear. Customers just need a heat press to apply the transfers.

Orders placed before 3pm are despatched the same day.

Snuggle director Shabbir Maimoon said that DTF was gaining attention “for good reason”.

“It’s fast, flexible, and finally reliable for commercial workflows. Snuggle DTF gives print professionals a simple, scalable way to offer what their customers want — without changing how they work,” he stated.

The firm cited industry forecasts for DTF growth of more than 40% per annum, and said the overall UK garment decoration market had an estimated value of $245m (£187m).
