Heidelbergs next-generation DI press, which will be launched at Print 01 in Chicago next month, will be shown for the first time in Europe at Print UK.


"I cant reveal any more details at this stage," said Heidelberg UK marketing director Sascha Fischer.


The new two-page press will be Heidelbergs fifth-generation DI press, a point it is keen to promote at the show, which will also see several other firms showing DI presses.


"This press is Heidelbergs fifth-generation DI press based on 10 years experience," said Fischer.


* DI Solutions is following up the launch of the Ryobi 3404DI at Northprint earlier this year by showing the machine at Print UK.


Xerox is expected to show its Ryobi-based DocuColor 233 DI and will be talking about the 52cm Adast-based DocuColor 400 DI.
