The UV-curable printer can output on rigid media up to 125x250cm with up to two boards of that size able to fit on the machine's flatbed table.
Océ expects the new XT specification to appeal to customers in the sign, display and exhibition markets, as well as those making their foray into the digital sector.
Dominic Fahy, Océ business group director for display graphic systems, said the large vacuum flatbed allowed for two separate boards to be printed on continuously at speeds of up to 23sqm an hour.
By using the machine's roll media option, the Arizona can print onto flexible media up to 2.2m wide at speeds of 17.5sqm.
In addition to point-of-purchase, banner and events signage, the XT machine can be used to print on oversized items such as garage doors, glass and wood.
Océ's new 350 XT also features a white ink, which allows under-printing on non-white media and over-printing for backlit applications on transparent media.
The Océ Arizona 350 XT will begin distribution in May and has a list price of £165,000.
