The new production arm allows customers of Pixart.it's web-to-print system to order a range of packaging applications from short- to long-runs, in a variety of sizes.
Pixart.it's latest investments will also support a catalogue entitled 'Ready to Personalise', which offers three product lines under promotional, delivery and folders categories.
The company's Océ Arizona 350 XT flatbed can print direct onto substrates such as MDF, aluminium, acrylics, PVC, glass, plastic and sheet metal. It has a bed size of 3,050x2,500mm and can output at resolutions of 1,440dpi.
The Rabollini die-cutter can cut boxes up to 120x160cm in size and, with the Océ, will run alongside kit that includes eight Zund plotters and six HP Indigo 7000 presses.
Pixart.it's new investments are the latest in a year that has already included the installations of a four-colour Komori LS 29 and a second Durst Rho 320R machine.
