The 350 GT can output at production speeds of up to 22.2sqm an hour on rigid media, compared to top hourly speeds of 16sqm on the previous 250 model.
It can also print onto flexible media at up to 17.5sqm an hour using the optional roll media add-on and can handle rigid media up to 1.25x2.5m at a maximum thickness of 48mm. In roll media operation, the 350 GT can output on substrates up to 2.2m wide.
Océ said the machine can print onto heavy substrates such as glass, as well as uneven, irregularly-shaped media including wood. It also incorporates a white ink option that can be used as a spot colour or for over-printing for backlit applications on transparent media.
The model features the company's VariaDot imaging technology, which enables its printheads to produce dots of variable size from six up to 42picoliters, which the company claims allows for the production of sharp images and uniform solids.
