The Bradford-based business has a turnover of £13m and produces printed cartons and patient information leaflets for the healthcare industry.

All 167 staff at the West Yorkshire site will keep their jobs, and the company will ultimately be integrated into MY network.

Tom Reid, managing director of Nampak Europe, which owns MY Healthcare, said: "The Storey Evans site gives us greater geographical coverage in the UK and also allows the potential for further expansion in due course.

"We are looking forward to furthering our position in the industry and continuing to provide our customers with the high standards of products and customer service for which we are well known."

Storey Evans was founded in 1898 and started out as a general carton printing company. In 1918 it began to specialise in the manufacture of printed cartons for the pharmaceutical industry.

The business was sold to the MSO Group in 2006. This year managing director Gerald Harford and operations director Nick Smith led a management buyout.

MY Healthcare, which is a subsidiary of South African-based Nampak, produces packaging for the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry, with a range of folding cartons, patient information leaflets and self-adhesive labels.
