The company has been exploring ways to reinstate capacity following the fire in July last year, where it was unable to salvage anything from the Surrey-based plant.
However, the option to rebuild the facility was found to be unfeasible in view of the loss of business and the length of time the project would have taken.
Following the end of the 90-day consultation process, 74 staff at the Surrey site left the business on 6 April.
Around 15 staff have been redeployed into alternative employment at other sites in the UK, and five other staff will take up offers of alternative positions within South-African-owned parent Nampak.
In July 2008, almost 100% of MY Healthcare's work in progress was relocated following a huge blaze that broke out at the Thorpe site .
In December 2008, Nampak Cartons also made 98 staff redundant as it announced it will permanently close its Crewkerne, Somerset, carton factory .
MY Healthcare's Thorpe site produced packaging for the pharmaceutical industry, including folding cartons, patient information leaflets, self-adhesive labels and printed foils used in blister packs.
The Nampak Group operates in the plastics and folding cartons in Europe through its MY Cartons, MY Healthcare and Nampak Plastics divisions.
