Leeds University appoints six printers

The University of Leeds has appointed six printers as part of a framework after downsizing its in-house facilities.

The university recently sold its litho presses, but still has a digital facility equipped with Xerox kit which it is hoping to expand.

The printers chosen include Brighton-based Image Data, Northampton-based Belmont Press, Derby-based Phase Print and Sheffield-based Interprint.

John Draper, purchasing officer at the university, said: “A range of items will be printed with prospectuses at one end and leaflets and brochures on the other.”
