House of Commons contingency printing tender live

All three tenders close for submissions in May

The House of Commons is seeking a supplier to provide contingency printing services on behalf of the House of Commons Vote Office.

Currently live on the government’s Find a Tender service, the tender notice says the House of Commons (‘the Authority’) has a requirement for short-notice access to an external printing supplier.

“The supplier shall provide contingency print services to the Authority to provide resilience should there be a failure of the Authorities Print Services equipment or IT infrastructure, or due to fire, flooding or an incident on the Parliamentary estate,” the notice stated.

With a total estimated value of £85,000 including VAT, the one-year contract will run from 2 June 2025 to 1 June 2026.

The tender submission deadline is 12pm on 7 May 2025.

Meanwhile, The National Museum of the Royal Navy (NMRN) is seeking to appoint a supplier to produce and print its range of souvenir guidebooks for a five-year period.

This appointment will be contracted to the NMRN Trading Company, with the procurement undertaken by NMRN Operations. The contractor should be able to undertake both the design and printing elements.

The notice also stated: “The NMRN are progressing a new brand redevelopment that will launch in 2025, of which at the point of reprint, the guidebooks will need to embody, increasing and extending our brand awareness.”

The estimated total value is £247,200 including VAT. The contract is estimated to start on 1 July 2025 and end on 1 July 2030.

The tender submission deadline is 12pm on 28 May 2025.

Finally, Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust requires the manufacture, print and storage of bespoke envelopes for NEQAS samples.

With an estimated total value of £21,600 including VAT, the contract will run from 1 October 2025 to 30 September 2026 and there will be a possible one-year extension to 30 September 2027.

The tender submission deadline is 2 May 2025 at 1pm.
