Konica scores deal with PBMS to supply high-volume imaging

Konica Minolta Business Solutions has secured a deal with Pitney Bowes Management Services (PBMS) to supply its high-volume document imaging systems.

The agreement means Konica Minolta will be the "strategic supplier" for PBMS' document production outsourcing service.

PBMS offers both on- and off-site digital print-on-demand jobs and transactional billing statements, as well as high-end print output management and secure internet delivery systems.

Included in the range is the Bizhub Pro 1050, a complete online production system with optional finishing units for six-way folding, booklet making and post inserting. It can also print variable data at 105ppm.

Konica Minolta will also supply the Bizhub Pro 920, which prints 92ppm of mono A4, and the Bizhub Pro C500, which prints 50 mono or colour A4 impressions per minute.

Head of production print at Konica Minolta, Jos Kelly (pictured), said: "We are pleased to have concluded this important strategic supplier agreement. PBMS is dedicated to providing excellent customer-service for outsourced document processing, and this agreement is a great endorsement for Konica Minolta Bizhub Pro systems."
