The firm outlined its plan to be a player at a European event for customers, partners and press in Berlin yesterday (6 October).
"We have built leadership in several segments and are making great strides in the print on demand and production markets," said Konica Minolta Business Solutions president Yoshikatsu Ota.
Ota said that the firm had shipped more than 15,000 production machines worldwide, of which 2,000 were in Europe.
The firm's production range includes the 105ppm bizhub Pro 1050 and the recently launched 90ppm bizhub Pro 920 black and white machines and the bizhub Pro c500 and c350 colour machines.
All were shown at the Berlin event including the latest version of the c500 driven by a Creo RIP, the IC-301. UK printers will get their first chance to see the IC-301 driving the c500 as well as the 920 at Digital Print World from 18-20 of this month.
