The Hull-based company bought the finishing kit and an Expertfold 110 A2 folder-gluer to replace two older machine machines.
According to Kingston Cartons managing director Arend Buitendam, the economic downturn has not hit the company, which is "busier than ever".
He said: "Demand has been so strong that we need to expand our capacity in both diecutting and gluing to keep pace with it.
"We have grown our business by building solid relationships with our customers and by re-investing profits to fund expansion. The new machines will give us the increased capacity we need to continue delivering the service levels our customers expect from us."
The 106 is a 3b diecutter featuring an optical lateral register system. It uses camera technology to register the sheet edge, or the print itself, to the diecutting tools. The diecutter also features a Cube3 touch screen control system.
Kingston Cartons' folder-gluer can run at speeds of up to 450 metres per minute and has been supplied with a Baumer hhs code-reading and glue-line detection system.
