KBA boosts digital with new roles
KBA UK has bolstered its digital press sales department with the appointment of software specialist Marcus Goerlitz, as well as the creation of two more jobs at its Watford headquarters to boost service and project management on its Karat range.
Goerlitz joins KBA UK from CGS International, based in Minneapolis, USA, where he was senior business manager. Prior to that he worked in Germany with MAN Roland agency, Herbert Frey, where he was head of internal sales and the electronics projects division.
Goerlitz will join KBA UK national sales manager for digital products Michael Grieger and will concentrate on sales of the 74 Karat, as well as the smaller 46 Karat through agents NCS.
KBA UK managing director Christian Knapp said: In view of the importance of pre-press interfaces and workflow options with the Karat presses, he will make a significant contribution to our overall sales and service capability.
