The 2m print run supplied members of the society, and those of the Chelsea Building Society with which it was merging, the necessary voting papers required for the deal to go ahead.

Alongside a personalised letter, which included the voting form, the packs also featured a 32pp booklet, as well as an 8pp spine-glued item and an A5 piece.

Howitt said that scheduling such large runs had been challenging but it implemented systems to reprint any spoiled packs as they were identified.

The work was won through a tender, although financial details were not disclosed. Howitt has since been awarded the print work for both companies' AGMs.
