The company, part of the £54m multi-channel Lateral Group, has finished the job which included the printing and mailing of packs to the UK, Europe and Canada.
Howitt printed the critical personalised proxy voting form and 32pp summary financial booklet on its Heidelberg M600 press and Kodak Versamark machines. It also enclosed the larger proportion of mail packs.
In addition to print managing the project, Howitt used Communisis and Adare for some enclosing and mailing and Artisan Press for some of the printing and perfect binding elements of the job.
Gurdev Singh, managing director at Howitt, said: "We had a week from start to finish to complete the job with every copy needing to be accounted for.
"The main challenge was the combination of strict deadlines and sign-off on each document."
As part of the project, Howitt had to ensure each document adhered to Financial Services Authority guidelines and was signed off on the press by Britannia and its advisers.
Howitt also worked alongside law firm Allen and Overy, KPMG and Universal McCann throughout the job.
