FM sales director Tony Falder said: "Despite being our first long perfector, this is absolutely the press for us.
"It is fast, it is green and it will allow us to convert more of our government tender opportunities into jobs at amore efficient profit rate."
The S129P is effectively a scaled-down version of Komori's B1Lithrone presses. It claims to boast an unprecedented level of automation for aB2 machine, including fully automatic plate changing.
The S129's eco-production features appealed to FM, which was among the first printers in the UK to achieve the ISO14001 environmental standard nine years ago.
The commissioning of the new press coincides with FM's achievement of FSC Chain of Custody certification.
At FM's Basildon headquarters, theS129P will join five-colour and six-colour Komoris as well as a Xerox DocuColor 5252.
