CCG secures ISOs as part of environmental push

Digital print firm Concept Communications Group (CCG) has secured ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 accreditation in response to customer demand.

All digital print at the company is FSC-certified, since the 22-staff firm became Chain of Custody-accredited in 2007.

Director Giles Bowes said ISO 14001 added a further degree of formality to its recycling and energy conservation procedures.

"Print and traditional direct mail is susceptible to criticism for being 'un-eco', so we're offering customers the greenest production available," he added.

"With efficient workflow control systems in place, we don't just save waste, ultimately, we can save our customers money."

CCG made the changes across its 9,000sqm operation over a period of nine months, in order to attain both accreditations simultaneously.

The firm specialises in digitally printed direct mail and offers web-to-print.
