Bumper electoral and print and post tenders now live

The government’s Find a Tender service contains further information

Three new tenders requiring electoral or other print and post services are currently live via the government’s Find a Tender service, the biggest worth up to £2m.

Leeds City Council – PACS [Procurement and Commercial Services] is looking to contract the supply and production of documents required for all types of elections and referendums and electoral registration administered by Leeds City Council Electoral Services, including polls administered on behalf of other local authorities/organisations.

With an estimated total value excluding VAT of £2m, the council said the two-year contract may be retendered before the expiry of the initial 24 months or may be extended by up to a further 24 months.

The time limit for receipt of tenders or requests to participate is 12pm on 20 January 2025.

More information, including contact details for the buyer, are available through Find a Tender.

Meanwhile, with an estimated total value excluding VAT of £1.8m, London and Quadrant Housing Trust said it wishes to engage a supplier to provide outbound printing and post services.

“This service is intended to replace most if not all existing arrangements,” the organisation said.

“The service needs to be in place and operational before closure of Cray House in March 2025. We estimate that the projected overall annual volume of outbound post will be 600,000 units/yr.”

It said there will be around 1,000 users spread across all geographical locations where London and Quadrant Housing Trust has a presence.

The duration of the contract is three years and it is subject to a renewal option after this period.

The time limit for receipt of tenders or requests to participate is 12.01pm on 2 January 2025.

Finally, Ashford Borough Council is looking to procure a single supplier of election and electoral registration printing.

With an estimated total value excluding VAT of £280,000, the contract will run for an initial term of four years with a possible one-year extension.

The time limit for receipt of tenders or requests to participate is 10am on 17 January 2025.
