Finally, National Museums Liverpool (NML) is inviting tenders “from suitably qualified and experienced contractors to enter into a multi-provider framework agreement” to undertake graphic production and installation across its exhibition galleries and venues.
NML said it typically produces 18-22 exhibitions and displays across its seven venues per year. It also has several permanent galleries which require maintaining to a high level.
“We would be expecting contractors to be producing graphics such as large-scale printed wallpaper, graphic panels on substrates, printed vinyl, foam labels, recyclable/sustainable signage, and screen printing to name a few. The requirements of each call-off contract will contain varying scope depending on the design and exhibition venue,” it stated.
Appointed contractors awarded 'call-off' contracts' from this framework agreement will work collaboratively with NML’s internal design team to develop a graphic production approach in line with project milestones, timescales, and exhibition programmes.
The estimated maximum total value is £250,000 excluding VAT. The duration of the contract is 36 months and is subject to renewal, with a two-year optional extension.
