Farrington, who has 12 years' experience in the logistics industry, will be charged with the running of the Stockport company's warehouse and distribution operations.

He joins from Regatta where he was responsible for brands such as Marks & Spencer, Pets at Home and Shell Lubricants.

According to Farrington, UK POS offers the opportunity to use the skills he has acquired over the past 12 years.

"The prospect of joining such a fast-paced business with exciting plans for future growth, and working with people that have great expertise and a passion for the product, was a real draw," he added.
