On an initial 12-month agreement, Simpson Group will supply display graphics and advertising materials for more than 50 stores. It is also charged with handling creative functions such as in-store audits.
Mark Simpson, chairman of Simpson Group, said he was "delighted" to have been awarded the contract, which was won on a competitive tender of four companies.
"We feel our innovative integrated approach to PoS will really add value to their business," he added.
Simon Moore, head of marketing for Borders UK, said he expected the deal to combine cost savings with improved efficiencies at the retailer.
"Our partnership with the Simpson Group brings with it many great benefits and the ability to draw upon their experience not only as a print supplier but also their in-house creative and store auditing functions," he said.
The move comes several months after Borders announced it was teaming up with and Oki and Tribeka to pioneer a new way of selling DVDs in-store, akin to on-demand book printing.
