The Mumbai-based lenticular printing specialist said it aimed to take an advantage of a growing demand for lenticular printing by utilising the technology with its new machines.
T P Pandey, chairman and managing director at Taco Visions, said: "It's all about quality. And the new kits perfectly suits our needs."
Taco Visions has developed its in-house software Pictoreal, which also is their brand of lenticular products.
Vinit Jadhav, head of pre-press division at Taco Visions, said: "We looked at the softwares available in the market but could not find one which could satisfy our needs. Therefore, we developed our own software."
For lenticular printing, the main aspect is the hairline registration and quality of the lens. Taco Visions prints lenses from 75 lines per inch (lpi) upto 165lpi and has plans to print on 200lpi lens.
According to Pandey, the key to success in lenticular print depends on the lenses' lpi; more is the lpi better is the result.
Apart from lenticular printing, the company plans to cater to the high-end clients who want premium quality printing on plastic and paper. Driven by a 100-strong staff, Taco Visions has 200 distributors all over the country.
