The £2m-turnover, Suffolk-based business only uses vegetable-based inks and all of its waste, including paper and aluminium, is collected by accredited environmental contractors for disposal or recycling.
Richard Stiff, production manager at 13-staffed Kingfisher Press, said: "The process of gaining FSC and PEFC certification is a stringent one. It is an industry wide accreditation and we would lose work if we didn't have them."
Kingfisher Press also has low energy lighting and a power down policy for evenings and weekends.
The company said that, where possible, all future equipment purchases will be made with environmental considerations in mind, including low alcohol, chemistry and energy efficiency.
Stiff added that the company has no plans to invest further at this time.
