The "tween" magazine, which launched in May 2000, is aimed at seven- to 11-year-old girls and features celebrity gossip, fashion, quizzes and advice.
The title will continue to be printed by Poole-based Wyndeham Group subsidiary Southernprint on its Manroland Lithoman IV 64/72pp and Heidelberg M600 16pp press.
But the updated version includes a fifth colour, Pantone 3252, on the cover to increase its vibrancy, as well as the use of fluro spot colours.
Paper stock remains the same on the revamped Go Girl with 80gsm on the inside pages and 90gsm for the cover but page count has been increased from 32 to 36 in total.
Go Girl publisher Siobhan Galvin said the revamp was the result of extensive research involving "hangout sessions" with seven- to 11-year-old girls as well as an online and print survey.
She added: "The design makeover has been led by the creation of a brighter, more vibrant colour palette.
"This is a really positive time in a girl’s life and we are confident our magazine is uplifting and fun, whilst also empowering them for their teenage years. We are thrilled with the new look and feel of Go Girl and have ambitions for growth with a projected annual RSV of £2.1 million."
