The title, which launches tomorrow (4 April), has an initial print run of 100,000 copies and is targeted at girls aged between seven and 12.
Southernprint is handling production of the 32pp plus 4pp cover magazine, which is printed web offset with a UV-varnished outer cover before being saddle stitched.
Norcote Super 70gsm stock was used for the text pages while a heavier 150gsm LumiArt Gloss was used for the cover.
Priced at £2.99, the new magazine will complement the Monster High brand, which has attracted more than 140m web views and has 75,000 fanclub members.
Egmont UK director of magazines Debbie Cook said: "Monster High is a bona fide phenomenon and we are extremely excited to welcome this leading girls brand into our portfolio.
"Our partnership with Mattel reaffirms Egmont’s position as the ideal magazine partner for brands looking to communicate with the pre-teen audience."
