The show, which will run in conjunction with Packaging Innovations and Print Innovations, has garnered the official backing of BPIF Labels.
Exhibitors signed up so far include Amberley Labels, Impression Technology Europe, Mercian Labels, Leonhard Kurz (UK), Blockfoil, Atwell Labellers and TPL Labels.
Amberley Labels will use the show to demonstrate how limited edition labels and the use of QR codes printed on packs can benefit brands. Royston Labels will show delegates how brands can stand out better through label and laminated printing, including through the use of the latest developments in decorative labelling, Braille labelling, multi-page labelling and ultra-clear ‘no-label’ labelling. Blockfoil will use the event to showcase its latest work in hot-foiling and embossing.
Meanwhile, EasyFairs Print Innovations, which is in its second year, has signed up exhibitors including Hewlett Packard, BPIF Cartons, DuPont UK, IPIA, AMS, Friedheim, Esko, Firstan, The Duncan Print Group and Impression Technology Europe.
Esko’s stand will focus on its Color Engine 12’s integration with PantoneLive. Impression Technology’s Eclipse LF3 digital label cutter and slitter will make its UK debut and AMS will launch the newest addition to its product range – the M1C Labelmaker, a short-run desktop digital colour label printer.
The Birmingham event takes place at the NEC on 27 and 28 February 2013. As well as Print Innovations and Labelling Innovations, it incorporates Packaging Innovations, Ecopack, Packtech and Contract Pack.
EasyFairs' Packaging Innovations London event ran last month, on 4 and 5 October, at the Business Design Centre.
