The firm made the decision to increase Post-Marque’s base weight inline with Royal Mail’s recently introduced Pricing in Proportion policy. Under these regulations the weight of an envelope does not increase postal costs, allowing Board Envelopes to improve product impact without raising costs.
All the envelopes are created using chlorine-free substrates sourced from FSC-approved suppliers. The heavier material has a smoother surface for improved print quality. It can be used for over-printing with up to four colours or flat-sheet printing using up to six colours. The range also includes tamper-evident seals and is produced using hot-melt seams and peal-and-seal flaps.
Post-Marque is available off the shelf in more than 40 stock profiles. Board Envelopes can also manufacture bespoke envelopes to meet individual customer requirements, with features such as
die-cutting, window patches, folding and gluing.

Board Envelopes, the UKs only dedicated envelope manufacturer of weights over 210gsm, has updated its Post-Marque range to include a heavier 225gsm pulp board. This new weight is set to become the ranges lightest board envelope replacing the 210gsm.
