The system consists of the DC 76 ASB die-cutter and the FF 52i folder-gluer, providing short makeready times, a tool-free inline gripper and automated set-up.
“We have combined the fast retooling of our commercial printing solutions with the requirements of packaging print,” explained managing director Marcus Tralau.
The result is the Kama FF 52i with virtually fully automated switching of the entire production line, offering time and cost savings. The FF 52i uses an inspection system with outward transfer, allowing full control over image, colour, text, Braille, scratches and imperfections.
For commercial printing, Generation S of the ProCut die-cutting and embossing range boosts performance with servo technology and asynchronous main drive.
