The range, which is available with immediate effect, comes in seven colours – red, purple, green, blue, titanium, silver and gold. The 90µm film has a high-gloss finish with a mirror effect.
Super Chrome can be used on the curved or textured surfaces of nearly all types of vehicles, including weldings and rivets. It is durable for one to two years, depending upon colour and location conditions.
The range consists of multi-layered cast, a clear surface protection liner and a structured Hex’Press silicone liner. Hexis said its Hex’Press solvent acrylic adhesive technology enables the applicator to apply the film in an efficient and bubble-free finish.
Hexis UK managing director Scott Wilkins said: “Hexis has taken several years to develop the new Super Chrome to make sure that vehicle wrappers can use the product in a similar way to normal wrap films.
“Premium wrapping companies with exceptional high-end and celebrity-style clients will be able to use this film to create eye-catching and stunning vehicle wraps that will enhance the look of any vehicle.”
The range is available in 1,370mm-wide rolls and pricing starts from around £580 for a 10m roll.
Hexis UK is the exclusive UK distributor of France-based Hexis’s full range of films and media for professional signage, vehicle marking, visual communication and surface protection applications.
