Its Fabric Wall system took 18 months to develop and involves a patented spring-loaded frame. A silicon edging strip is sewn onto the upper and lower edge of the fabric, and this then simply clips into the Fabric Wall profile.
“The poles can be raised individually, so one person can build a big wall. There are no tubes needed and it’s easy to transport,” explained product developer Andreas Lundgren.
“You can make a 6.5m wall with only three poles. You get a lot of print area for the price of the system.”
Fabric Wall is targeted at companies that produce backdrops for shows and events. It can create 90-degree corners as well as curved and straight shapes.
Expolinc bills it as an easy-to-use alternative to heavy frames and pop-up systems. The system will be commercially available later this year.
The firm is exhibiting in hall 6, stand S1 at Fespa 2015.
