I was running an artwork and repro operation at Hunter's Armley in Leeds. My boss at the time, Brian Sugden, gave me the opportunity to take over their sheetfed division. The first thing I did was buy a Roland six-colour B1 press

Howard Worsnop, now retired, was production director at Smiths Colour Print. A small guy with a big heart. 27 years for the same company and not one day sick. Respect!

I was once asked to teach 40 builders merchant branch managers how to hand write perfect shelf markers
