Peter Taylor has also moved up to become director of graphic arts, while John Hopgood takes over as director of Xerox business services.
Since joining Xerox in 1982 Peacock has progressed through a variety of senior sales and management roles, including general manager and director of Southern UK operations and director of Xerox UKs office business unit.
More recently, Peacock has been responsible for the engineering development and delivery of all monochrome products globally whilst heading up Xeroxs monochrome business unit.
Peacock said: Ive been with Xerox most of my career and the role is a challenge I have long aspired to.
Xerox is a stronger company now. costs are declining, our balance sheet is strengthening and our operations are generating cash. We are still a company in transition but we have the right offerings.
