The London-based print and facilities management group has bought Creatis, an Australian-based marketing communication and design services provider, and US outsourcing services specialist, Uniscribe Professional Services.
The acquisitions follow recent denials by group head of business development and marketing Miles Toulson-Clarke that Williams Lea was looking at a possible sale of its business.
At the time he said the group was reviewing its growth strategies, with Toulson-Clarke optimistic about opportunities.
Williams Lea chief executive Tim Griffiths said the firm had been looking for an Australian-based partner for the past year to expand its capabilities and strengthen its local service offering.
"We approached Creatis because of its reputation for service and innovation excellence," said Griffiths.
