Saket Kanoria, managing director of TCPL Packaging, said: "Over the years we have felt the need to highlight our core activity in our name and hence the change. Also, in the industry we are known as TCPL."
TCPL Packaging is an ISO 9001:2000 and BRC/IoP-certified packaging company based in India with units in Haridwar and Silvassa.
In 2005, TCPL expanded by setting up its state-of-the-art plant in Haridwar, Northern India, which was built at a cost of INR 300m (£3.7m) on a tax-free industrial estate.
With this investment, it doubled its production capability and became one of the largest converters in India.
The company has grown from a turnover of $1.31m in 1990-91 (£0.75m) to $33.59m (£19.3m) in the financial year 2006-07.

Twenty First Century Printers has announced that its company name has changed to TCPL Packaging, as of 10 September this year.
