Troika Systems will launch its new SwiftPrint open universal digital printing and proofing software at Print UK.
The company said it eliminated the need for an individual RIP for each output printing device. It consists of a single RIP incorporated into SwiftPrint.
The system runs on a Windows 2000 platform.
We have taken post-PostScript data that way we get integrity with whats going to be printed, said managing director Phil Hall. The price of the system has yet to be finalised.
Troika will also show its SpinJet 1000 B1 duplex proofing system at Print UK. Hall said that although the UK market was slow, the firm was 33% ahead of its sales targets for the system, having sold more than 550 worldwide this year.
Troika will occupy stand 308 at Print UK, which takes place from 18-20 September.
