Equipment and other assets belonging to a London-based print company that is set to go into members’ voluntary liquidation has gone up for auction.

TG Print & Design ceased trading a few weeks ago and it is intended that liquidators from Begbies Traynor will be appointed shortly.

Lambert Smith Hampton is overseeing the sale of 86 lots, by order of the director pending the appointment of the liquidator, and kit including litho and digital printers and various finishing equipment is now up for auction.

Lots include a five-colour 2010 Heidelberg Speedmaster XL 75 litho press, two Konica Minolta Bizhub Pro C6000L digital printers, two MGI Meteor DP8700 XL digital presses, a Meteor DP8700 S + digital press, and an HP DesignJet Z6600 wide-format printer.

Finishing kit from Zünd, Duplo, Heidelberg, Morgana, Hohner, Autobond, and Caslon among others is also listed, while a Toyota forklift truck, warehouse equipment, shipping containers, computer equipment, and office furniture is also available. The full list of lots can be viewed at: bit.ly/tg-auction.

The kit has all been shut down and decommissioned and is fully prepared for sale.

Lambert Smith Hampton director Chris Buller told Printweek: “We’ve already had a lot of interest in the kit. I’m a bit gobsmacked, we’ve had dealers from all over Europe talking to us about the Heidelberg Speedmaster XL 75, which took us a bit by surprise. We’ve had numerous dealers trying to buy pre-auction.”

Viewings of the assets will take place on a walk-in basis on Monday 14 February from 8am to 3pm at TG Print & Design’s premises: Unit 36, IO Centre, Armstrong Road, Royal Arsenal, London SE18 6RS.

Bidding closes on Wednesday 16 February at midday and purchased lots can be collected between 8am and 3pm from Monday 21 to Wednesday 23 February.

TG Print produced items including business cards, banners, flyers, menus, stationery, booklets, and posters. In 2014 it became one of a small handful of early adopters of the LumeJet S200 digital photonic printer.
