Andrew Poxon and Julien Irving of Leonard Curtis were appointed to oversee the administration of the Burnley-based business on 24 May. Calderprint closed its doors earlier that month.
Commercial real estate consultancy firm Lambert Smith Hampton has now published an online notice for the auctioning of a variety of printing kit from the Calderprint plants, including offset printers, pre-press, finishing and bookletmaking kit.
Lambert Smith Hampton director for MBA north Michael Booth said: “The kit on offer is going to suit businesses from those who serve pan-European and Asian markets to those smaller ones with a UK-specific focus because of the wide range of assets.
“We have registered a wide range of interested parties including machinery dealers, end users and print businesses. There is pre-press, offset, form printing, stitching and finishing available with a good selection of brands.
“Any print equipment will be commensurate with its age and how much it has been used, but all the Calderprint kit was working up until the moment of closure and much of it has been built to last.”
Viewings for the available kit will take place from 10am-4pm on Tuesday 9 July at Calderprint’s two premises in Manchester Road, Donnockshaw, and Gertude Street, Nelson, while bidding is set to close on Thursday 11 July at 12 midday.
The list of available kit includes presses from Edelmann, Form-All, Heidelberg, Manroland, Muller Martini, Sanxin and Shinohara, as well as wide range of pre- and post-press, ancillary printing and warehouse equipment.
Interested parties can sign up on the Lambert Smith Hampton website.
