Fuji launched its e-production service, myfujifilm.com, at Seybold Boston this week.
Myfujifilm.com is an application service provider (ASP) offering pre-press production and asset management tools.
It is being rolled out as a trial service in the US and Canada in Q3 this year. Its availability in the UK has not yet been decided.
"We dont know if it will come to the UK, but were very interested in it," said Fujifilm Graphic Systems UK marketing manager Graham Leeson. "It makes a lot of sense, and we believe it will be of benefit to our customers."
Myfujifilm.com was first previewed at Drupa last year when the service was presented as a "digital consumable" to replace revenue lost due to the decline in film and plate sales.
