RBS, which publishes around 1.3bn pages per year across 900 different document types, will use Open Print to enhance tracking and monitoring and to help automate the printing process.

As part of the contract, Sefas will also provide consultancy, application development, training and integration services.
According to Sefas, more than 10bn pages were printed and mailed using its Open Print software in 2008, including the production of bills, statements and company literature.
Sefas, which is headquartered in Paris and has its UK base in Bristol, counts Abbey National, Bank of Tokyo, BT, DST International, DWP, EDS, HBOS, Inland Revenue, Nationwide and RR Donnelley amongst its UK clients.

Document production software specialist Sefas Innovation has won a contract with the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) to provide its Open Print Remake and Delivery software packages.
