The two companies have launched Prismadesigner, a high-end document design and composition tool based on Sefas' Open Print software.
Prismadesigner, which is aimed at direct mail, transpromo and transactional printers, can be seen on Sefas' stand (11/D240) at Ipex.
The software allows anyone involved in the printing process to view the document in real-time, regardless of location.
According to Giles Hill, managing director for Sefas Innovation UK & Northern Europe, the Océ partnership will help it break into new markets.
He said: "This is a huge opportunity for us to get on the map. We are known, but we could never be as visible without this partnership - it is fantastic for us.
"We have worked with Kodak, Xerox and Océ in the past but never to the extent of a full partnership. It will help us to get into a number of new markets and already we are talking to people in the Far East and Australia. We are hugely excited."
