"Our customers are looking for efficient, high-performance digital systems to complement an offset press," said Ricoh UK professional print marketing manager Karen Lawrence. "Creo server technology meets those demands exactly."
The Pro C900 C-80 uses Creo's C-80 server, which offers variable data printing and can control all the C900's inline finishing options.
Its JDF capabilities enable it to be integrated into automated workflows with pre-press systems, including Agfa Apogee, and into MIS.
Ricoh is one of the last digital press vendors to offer a choice of front-ends, with the Creo joining the EFI Fiery, which has been available since the machine was launched.
Canon has also recently added the Creo server to its range for its ImagePress range.
