Clients said a big problem was managing approvals and ensuring corrections are made, said executive vice president graphic arts division Yehuda Messinger.
The firm has incorporated JDF, which will be implemented first in an Esko-Graphics workflow, a compare function, digital signatures, the ability to lock-down files after sign-off and support for Apples Safari browser for OS X.
A version of Heidelbergs Printready using RTIs software is also due at Drupa.
The acquisition by KPG, according to Messinger, will pave the way for remote proofing to become a mainstream technology.
