Bournemouth-based Pro2col claimed that cross-platform Infitran could bridge a gap in the UK market due to its ability to deliver flexible, enterprise-level managed file transfer functionality at an affordable cost.
Infitran is claimed to eliminate the need to supervise and manage multiple solutions by integrating into multiple environments and proactively monitoring and reporting on activity.
The software-based system, which uses SSL/TLS 256-bit encryption, complies with the stringent data protection requirements enforced by US legislation such as HIPAA, Sarbanes Oxley and Gramm-Leach-Bliley.
James Lewis, managing director of Pro2col, said: "With data breaches on the increase, businesses are aware that securing their data transfer is imperative.
"With Infitran, we've added another industry-leading solution to our portfolio to help enterprises in their need to implement a secure file transfer solution.
"In addition to its considerable flexibility and functionality, Infitran is sensibly priced at a level that businesses will be able to deploy throughout the organisation without the financial burden associated with some existing solutions."
Jon Laughland, Stonebranch's UK manager added: "The relationship with Pro2col allows us to expand our global reach as part of our Global Partner Program.
"Infitran easily replaces insecure and unreliable methods of file transfer and, because our solution interoperates with other third-party file transfer solutions, we offer a powerful differentiator for the Pro2col product offerings."
