Printing out in force for 2004 IDMF exhibition

The print industry was well represented at this years International Direct Marketing Fair (IDMF) last week at Earls Court.

Companies including Xerox and Pitney Bowes were at the event showcasing their latest products.

Xerox had a major presence at the show with its DocuPrint 425. Graphic Arts director Peter Taylor said the show presence was part of a major push in the continuous feed sector.

We want to take this market by storm its a major target for us this year. Continuous feed is a market that we have never had a hold on, said Taylor.

One of Xeroxs clients CFH, picked up a DM2 award at the show for major advance in direct marketing and customer communications. Last year the Bath-firm invested around 4m in Xerox equipment.
